Evidence-based therapy for anxiety, OCD, and perinatal mental health
Therapy for anxiety.
Anxiety is an adaptive emotion inherent in the human experience. It’s there to alert us to information that may need our attention and to help us respond effectively to potential threats. If you think of yourself like a house, anxiety is like the fire alarm. It’s a vital safety feature. However, clinically significant anxiety that is consistent with a diagnosable anxiety disorder is by definition disruptive beyond the point of being helpful. Like a faulty smoke alarm that goes off every time you use the oven, anxiety disorders can make it incredibly difficult to go about your life. Evidence-based treatment for anxiety can help you learn to recalibrate your smoke alarm and respond to it more effectively so that you don’t have to quit cooking.
In the words of Susan David,
“Courage is not the absence of fear. Courage is fear walking. It is moving towards what matters.”
Therapy for motherhood.
As a relatively new mom myself, I know firsthand that being a mom is chock full of paradoxes. In the same moment, you can be flooded with both grief and joy, anxiety and excitement, anger and love, exhaustion and energy, pain and gratitude, overwhelm and confidence, longing and peace. It is an emotionally rich, complex, and intense experience and it is physically and relationally demanding in every way. If you feel like your world is getting rocked, you are in good company. I am here to help you learn skills to relate to your pain with the kindness, compassion, and care you deserve, to help you clarify your values as you get to know this beautiful new version of yourself, and to help you get from survival mode into thriving with your little one.
In the words of Esther Perel,
“Having a baby is a psychological revolution that changes our relation to almost everything and everyone."

Interested in working with me? I always provide a free 15 minute consultation call to prospective clients. During this call, we briefly discuss what it is you are looking for and whether I might be able to help. I ask you a few screening questions, and you can ask me questions too! It’s important to me that you feel as comfortable as possible with your care, and having the chance to connect before signing up for an intake session is part of the process.

In our first two sessions, we will discuss what has brought you to therapy, and identify your needs and goals. I will conduct a full diagnostic assessment, and share my diganostic impressions and recommendations for treatment with you. From there, we will meet on a weekly or biweekly basis to help you meet your goals. Sessions are 50 minutes long, and are currently conducted on telehealth.

I provide Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), both of which are evidence-based approaches rooted in decades of psychological research. These therapies are proven to be effective in treating a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, and life transitions. While CBT helps us understand and reframe unhelpful thought patterns, ACT guides us in building psychological flexibility — helping you move toward a life that feels meaningful, even in the presence of discomfort. Together, these approaches offer practical tools for lasting change.
